Movie Details

Dafne is a witty, fiercely independent young woman with Down Syndrome who lives with her parents, Luigi and Maria. When Maria suddenly dies, the family`s balance shatters. Luigi falls into depression, tormented by thoughts of a future when he`ll leave his daughter alone. Dafne, supported by her job and lifelong friends, faces the loss with childlike resilience and a young woman`s bravery, trying to lift her father`s spirits. Then something unexpected happens: they decide to hike together to the mountain town where Maria was born. Along the journey, they discover much about each other and learn to push beyond their limits.
