A former kickboxer, Rui is now a mob debt collector and lives a near-reclusive life. After Akari, a girl who`s lost her eyesight and family in an accident, mistakes him for someone else, they begin talking and romance blooms between them. She often visits him and her cheerful demeanour brings Rui out of his shell. When he learns of Akari`s past accident and his connection, he decides to pay for her eye surgery. To get the money for it, he takes part in an underground fight.

Filem ini merupakan 'remake' kepada filem Korea Selatan, "Always" (2011). Kemalangan yang menimpa Akari telah membuatkan dia kehilangan keluarganya dan menjadi buta. Dia kemudiannya mengenali Rui, seorang bekas peninju terkenal, apabila dia tersalah anggap lelaki itu adalah orang lain. Sekian lama menjauhkan diri dari orang ramai, akhirnya hidup Rui berubah ke arah lebih baik disebabkan Akari. Hubungan mereka menjadi semakin rapat dan perasaan cinta mula berputik. Selepas mengetahui kisah lampau Akari, Rui nekad untuk membayar kos pembedahan mata gadis kesayangannya itu dengan menyertai sebuah pertandingan tinju bawah tanah.
