When clown Darso and his wife Darsi are robbed by thugs and Darsi is killed in the struggle, a devastated Darso puts Darsi`s body in a clown suit and returns to their small hometown. There, amid the chaos of a carnival and the violence of a ruthless developer, village shaman Ki Kamboja utters a curse before he is killed. As Darsi`s body gets possessed by the ancient evil from the curse, the entity begins to take over Darso`s plan on his bloody vengeance.
Darso dan isterinya Darsi dirompak oleh samseng sehinga menyebabkan Darsi terbunuh dalam pergelutan. Darso, yang jiwanya hancur, meletakkan mayat Darsi dalam pakaian badut dan pulang ke kampung halaman mereka. Di sana, di tengah-tengah kekacauan karnival dan keganasan pemaju yang kejam, bomoh kampung Ki Kamboja bersumpah sebelum dia dibunuh. Ketika tubuh Darsi dirasuk oleh roh purba yang datang dari sumpahan itu, entiti itu mula mengambil alih rancangan Darso untuk membalas dendam.
