Watch this if you liked: “Bigfoot” and “The Blair Witch Project”

The Good, the Bad and the Sasquatch:

The director of "The Blair Witch Project", Eduardo Sanchez returns with another found-footage film which focuses on the legendary mythical creature, Bigfoot AKA Sasquatch. The story follows five friends who venture into a remote forest in Texas for a weekend fun trip, only to accidently anger the legendary Bigfoot who resides in the forest. The story is pretty much predictable and yet enjoyable at the same time. Although you can sort of expect the moments when Bigfoot would appear, you would still get shocked and frighten by its sudden appearance on screen. Unlike "The Blair Witch Project" which does not provide a single glimpse of the witch on screen at all (except for screaming sounds and eerie noises), you can definitely see Bigfoot in "Exists" rather clearly. However, due to the shaky camera (P.O.V. style), the figure of the monster might appear blurry or dark, which sometimes can make your head spin and eyes hurt from trying to follow the movement. The sounds and effects of the film are definitely genuine enough and provide the much needed creepiness, however, the fact that the protagonist keeps holding the camera even when he is chased by Bigfoot seems a bit abnormal, because it is not something normal life-fearing people would normally do. Aside from that, the performance given by the cast are somewhat as natural as it could be, especially Brian Steele who plays the Bigfoot. We do not know how Bigfoot would seem natural, but this movie managed to convince us that it's real.

Look Out For:

The many moments of the sudden Bigfoot appearance that will surely make you jump in your seat!

Trivia:

Brian Steele commonly play monsters and creatures in television and films, so the dude knows his stuff.

Best Watched With:
Anyone above 18-years-old who loves found-footage films, and is a big fan of the legendary creature.
