Many moviegoers would have thought of the comedy movie "3 Madu" by Tan Sri P.Ramlee, Sarimah, Zaharah Agus and Jan Mahadi if polygamy becomes the focal point in a movie. Although "4 Madu" was completed a year ago, it stars one of Malaysia famous comedian Saiful Apek, who will make his comeback after being arrested in June 2010 for cocaine possession.

"4 Madu" tells the tale of Azlan, a chalet worker in Bagan Lalang who received a letter, summoning him to a law firm in Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, Azlan was shocked to see his twin brother, Azrul for the very first time. Both their presence are needed as their father's will are being conveyed to them. However, Azlan and Azrul will have to complete a few tasks in order to inherit RM 50 million.

The plot comes out light-hearted and funny, especially when watching hilarious antics from Azlan and Azrul, who are forced to marry four women with different background! This will definitely leave audiences entertained while watching the movie. In fact, the writer feels that the practice of polygamy isn't really based on love. However, director Prof. Madya A. Razak Mohaideen's intention to attract the non-Malay audiences by letting them know the exact meaning of polygamy might be fruitful, but not in a conducive way.

As an established actor, Saiful Apek is given the task of portraying two different characters, namely Azlan and Azrul. His performance is undoubtedly brilliant as he handles two different role with a much different approach, though comedic elements in "4 Madu" are just like any other movies which he had acted in. "4 Madu" also stars popular actresses like Rozita Che Wan, Marsha Londoh, Sazzy Falak, Almy Nadia, Bienda, Ayu Raudhah, Rosnah Mat Aris and also Fasha Sandha. Obviously some actors are lacking in the acting department, but fortunately they are saved by looking pretty and gorgeous in the movie. Audiences should expect some stiff and awkward acting in "4 Madu".

With Saiful Apek's return to the big screen and a lineup of today's popular stars, coupled with a funny storyline, "4 Madu" should be able to attract audiences and expect good box office rakings.
