Film "Kisah Paling Gengster" is directed by Brandon Lee, who had previously directed the movie "Aku Tak Bodoh and "Love Matters".

The film tells the story of how a paramedic becomes a gangster after a gangster saves his life and taught him how to be a good gangster. The reviewer appreciated the character which carries emotions to play in, and the actor managed to bring the audience deeper into role.

If you're wondering why the movie received an 18 SG rating, it was because of the brutal fights and killings that could be seen in the film, and there is very little dialogue that was deemed considerate for viewing by minors.

In terms of the dialogue and the plot, it wasn't too heavy and easy to understand but the reviewer just felt like the story line was too messy. Along with the writing flaw, the visual feel of this film seemed a bit darker and the lighting was probably forgotten throughout the whole shoot, but it was admittedly entertaining mainly because of the antics of lead character and his mother.

The characters Wan Hanafi Su, Paduka Master Rock, and Zul Handy Black are to be given praise because they managed to bring the characters to perfection as a gangster. They have successfully and casually brought their dialogue on screen well and their acting techniques were proven to be of great quality.

In addition, the emergence of new actors like Mikael Andre, Fyza Kader, Epy Raja Lawak and Huang Qi Ming did not disappoint either. But Fyza was a little rigid though it was a good effort.

In conclusion this film is something that is not only action-packed but it also has the element of love between mother and child. Additionally, the film is full of soul and it makes this story even more interesting. "Kisah Paling Gengster", even though two or three scenes are a little weak, can be a good option if you are interested in action films.
