Watch this if you liked: "Aku, Kau Dan Dia"

Not many would want to risk a box office stinker by publishing an Islamic-themed romance drama because this genre is not exactly an audience's favourite, but credit should be given to the people of Metrowealth for a daring film like this.

Credit should also be given to the director. Azhari Zain gives us his intelligent input in every scene of Attar's life and travels. He has also included in the film's story awareness and teachings for the younger generation.

This reviewer would like to also give credit to Wawa Zainal because she played her character very well. Aeril Zafrel and Adey Syafrien also managed to bring the audience the feel of their own characters.

However, new actress Alfiera Riana still has a long way to go. Her acting was bit stiff, but credit should be given as this is her first feature film. She has plenty of time to improve her acting, so hopefully this review will be read by her and she will try to improve a bit more in her next project.

This film tells the story of Fakhruddin Attar played Aeril Zafrel, and the death of his wife Saidatul Nafisa. Grieving the death of his wife, he migrates from place to place to rid himself of his depression. In the process, he bumps into two different women, Fatin and Zazlena. The question is who will Attar choose? Zazlena or Qalbie? Will Hilma Aqila (Diana Amir) reappear to find love again with Attar?

From this reviewer's perspective, though this film's genre is not very well-received, it manages to touch the hearts of anyone watching. It was also able to give a little bit of awareness and teach you a few things. In conclusion, the movie "99 Kali Rindu" is a nice film to watch and it would not be a total loss for you to go to the cinema to watch it when it is released on 9 May 2013.
