"Fobia Malam Pertama" follows Zaty who is afraid to fall in love as she believes that because of a dark curse on her family when she falls in love and gets married, she would die after giving birth to her first child. The male lead, Asyraf on the other hand is a playboy who has returned from his studies in Indonesia and has been told by his father that he will need to get married to a virgin as it is family tradition. Asyraf is then enrolled into the same college as Zaty and thus begins a comedy of epic proportions.

Filem ini menceritakan kisah Asyraf dan Zaty. Zaty seorang gadis yang takut untuk jatuh cinta kerana dia percaya bahawa kerana sumpahan gelap pada keluarganya apabila dia jatuh cinta dan mendapat berkahwin dia akan mati selepas melahirkan anak pertamanya. Asyraf pula adalah 'playboy' yang telah pulang dari pengajian di Indonesia dan telah diberitahu oleh bapanya bahawa dia perlu berkahwin dengan dara kerana ia adalah tradisi keluarga. Asyraf kemudian mendaftar ke kolej yang sama seperti Zaty dan dengan itu bermula komedi epik sebagai dua burung cinta perlu berurusan dengan bomoh, kedua mertua dan bagaimana Zaty cuba menyelamatkan diri daripada hamil di malam pertama!
