Cerita Hantu Malaysia

The film consists of three stories that are interconnected with each other. It starts off at an old school where the guard on duty keeps experiencing spooky happenings during his shift. This prompts the school authorities to call a medium to perform an exorcism to drive the spirits away from the school. In the following story, the medium and his assistant, Saad, is returning from the school when their car crashes. The medium dies from a heart attack. Saad dies when a car hits him. In the final story, Jo, Mansur and Akim are looking for their friend, Rose, who has been possessed and has gone missing. They encounter many strange happenings until they find Saad`s and the medium`s lifeless bodies by the roadside.
Filem ini terdiri daripada tiga cerita yang mempunyai kaitan antara satu sama lain. Ia bermula di sebuah sekolah lama di mana seorang pengawal keselamatan bernama Aki mengalami beberapa perkara menyeramkan ketika bekerja. Pihak sekolah kemudian meminta seorang guru agama untuk mengusir mahkluk-mahluk halus dari sekolah tersebut. Dalam cerita kedua, guru tersebut dan penolongnya, Saad, sedang dalam perjalanan kembali dari sekolah itu apabila mereka terlibat dalam kemalangan. Guru itu meninggal serta merta setelah diserang sakit jantung. Saad pula meninggal apabila dilanggar oleh sebuah kereta. Dalam cerita ketiga, Jo, Mansur dan Akim mencari rakan mereka, Rose, yang dirasuk dan telah menghilangkan diri. Mereka mengalami pelbagai peristiwa seram sehingga mereka menjumpai Saad dan guru agama yang terlantar tanpa nyawa di tepi jalan.

The Good, the Bad and the Tales

• This film by Pierre Andre is an omnibus, a combination of several stories into one film akin to Thailand's "4bia".

• However, unlike "4bia", this movie has three different stories that somehow lead into each other.

• Even though the film was produced with a modest budget, the storyline is not disappointing.

• From a technical aspect, the visual is displayed in a 'raw' style, similar to the technique seen in Pierre's previous film "Highland Tower".

• It is an interesting film that is not a cliche like many other horror films.

Trivia

• This is the first omnibus film produced in Malaysia.
