Puaka Balai Gombak

After failing to discover supernatural beings and spirits in famous haunted locations that are known for their local horror stories, a group of paranormal researchers gives up on the existence of such spiritual beings, until they discover an abandoned police station in Gombak.
Setelah gagal menemui makhluk halus di beberapa lokasi yang terkenal dengan cerita-cerita seram, sekumpulan pengkaji paranormal yang sering mempertikaikan kewujudan makhluk halus yakin makhluk tersebut tidak wujud. Namun segalanya berubah apabila pada suatu hari, di sebuah balai polis yang terbiar di Gombak, mereka berdepan dengan cabaran terbesar mereka.

The Good, the Bad and the Haunted Police Station

This is the third time Waan Hafiz who is considered as one of the directors from the new generation, has directed a film. The uniqueness of this film is that all of the main are new actors who never acted in any other movies before. The main element that the film tried to focus on is the paranormal journey to discover the mysterious entity. "Villa Nabila" uses the same genre as "Puaka Balai Gombak", but "Puaka Balai Gombak" looks more authentic as the main characters are all new and fresh and since it is a found footage genre, the reactions they give are more realistic as it is exactly how normal people would act like if they are in the same situation. Also, the film uses a lot of vulgar words which is a normal reaction too if you really see a ghost.
