The Good, the Bad and the ghost at Jalan Puncak Alam:

After the successful local horror film "Ia Wujud", young director Dharma Aizat returns with another horror fare which sets to excite and scare the audience - only that the film fails to do so.

"Jalan Puncak Alam" is based on the famous road in Puncak Alam which leads to the Puncak Alam UiTM campus. The road is famous for its one thousand and one mysteries as well as creepy and weird happenings which take place during the night. Thus, the director of the film decided to compile all of the famous horror stories that have been told to him by the locals and students into a full-fledged horror film.

It is undeniable that the title of the film will make one feels excited and eager as it reminds you of similar horror films which are also based on true stories like "Karak", "Puaka Balai Gombak", "Highland Tower" and "Villa Nabilla", but the film fails to deliver the excitement that the audience will be hoping for as the first ten-minutes of the film successfully bores the entire audience with its repetitive scenes and confusing plotline.

Even the jump scares fail to genuinely terrify the audience as they are only surprised because of the sound effects and not of the scenes itself. Furthermore, the two main characters played by Azwan Kombos and Niezam Zaidi are not very impactful and are quite stiff and awkward throughout the whole film.
