Yan is an ordinary girl with a mountain of problems in her life. One day, she has a severe cough and finds herself gasping for air. When she stops coughing, she finds that there is a thick, gooey greenish phlegm-like substance on her hand. She starts to panic and goes to the doctor, but is hit by a car on the way there. After coming to her senses, she discovers that her body is painless and in perfect condition. Her doctor then performs a thorough diagnosis and discovers that Yan has no heartbeat and yet she is completely fine and healthy. When she gets kidnapped and brought to Professor Xu`s laboratory for an examination, Yan is told that her soul has left her body and she only has three days to get it back.
