After winning the Best Short Film Competition at his university, Adi is given the task of producing a documentary on the last native of Southeast Asia. With guidance from his lecturer Professor Amy, Adi chooses Philippines to shoot the documentary on the native tribe. He is helped by his classmate Maria, who later confesses her feelings to Adi, making his relationship with Suraya awkward and estranged. As Suraya is disappointed with Adi, she goes on a journey to look for her missing father, Azri, after Pak Wahab told her that he is still alive. Meanwhile, Adi comes across Adung, a merchant of gemstone who worries that Adi will disturb their business.
Adi seorang pemenang dalam pertandingan Filem Pendek Terbaik di universitinya telah diberi tanggungjawab untuk menerbitkan sebuah dokumentari mengenai puak asli di Asia Tenggara. Dengan panduan oleh Profesor Amy, dia telah memilih Filipina sebagai lokasi untuk menjejaki puak asli itu. Adi dibantu oleh rakan kelasnya Maria untuk membuat penggambaran di sana. Bagaimanapun masalah mula timbul apabila Adi bertemu dengan saudagar batu permata bernama Adung yang merasakan Adi menganggu peluang perniagaan mereka.
