A mysterious disease turns Siti`s face so unpleasant to look at that villagers begin mocking her for it and Awang, the man she loves, abandons her. One of her best friends, Mawar, is secretly happy because she harbours feelings for Awang but their other best friend, Teratai, has warned her not to destroy their friendship by messing with Siti and Awang`s relationship. Alienated by almost everyone, Siti turns to a woodcutter named Nadim for friendship. Mawar wants Siti to leave the village for good, so one day, when she hears about a witch in the mountains that can cure any illness, she tells Siti about it. Teratai tries to stop her but Siti is determined to go find the witch to cure her face.

Satu penyakit misteri mengubah wajah Siti menjadi hodoh, menyebabkan dia dihina dan dipulaukan penduduk kampung, termasuk Awang, lelaki yang dicintainya. Salah seorang rakan baiknya, Mawar, dalam diam berasa senang hati kerana dia juga menyukai Awang tetapi rakan mereka, Teratai, memberi amaran kepada Mawar agar tidak merosakkan persahabatan mereka dengan mengganggu hubungan Siti dan Awang. Setelah dipulaukan oleh hampir semua orang, Siti akhirnya berkawan dengan seorang tukang kayu bernama Nadim. Mawar ingin Siti meninggalkan kampung itu, jadi suatu hari, apabila dia mendapat tahu mengenai Nenek Kebayan di Gunung Panti yang mampu merawat segala penyakit, dia memberitahu Siti tentang perkara itu. Walaupun Teratai cuba menghalangnya, namun Siti nekad untuk ke sana demi menyembuhkan mukanya.
