25 Apr – The neighbourhood mall of Kota Damansara, Encorp Strand Mall now has a new cinema housed within its premises. TGV Cinemas has opened the 8-screen TGV Encorp Strand which has a total seating capacity of 1054. Its opening comes just a day after the opening of another TGV location, also an 8-screen cineplex at TGV Cheras Sentral. However despite housing the same amount of screens, TGV Cheras Sentral is slightly bigger in terms of its seating capacity which is 1243. Similar to TGV Cheras Sentral, TGV Encorp Strand introduces a new style for its halls, where the first few rows from the screen will be Beanie seats. Both cineplex utilises the Dolby 7.1 sound system.
