17 May – Samuel L. Jackson is in final negotiations to co-star with Hailee Steinfeld in the movie "Barely Lethal". Steinfeld, who had her big break with the Coen Brothers' film "True Grit" which earned her an Oscar nomination, will star in the film as a 16-year-old assassin. Director Kyle Newman, who previously directed "Fanboys", is set to direct the comedy, which tells the tale of a teenage international assassin aching to experience a more normal life. So she decides to fake her death and enrol in a suburban high school. Samuel L Jackson will play her mentor who trains her in the program.
The last time Jackson tangled with assassins was when he teamed up with Geena Davis in the 1996 action film "The Long Kiss Goodnight." Jackson will next be heard in DreamWorks' animated comedy "Turbo", alongside Ryan Reynolds. He will then appear in "RoboCop" and reprise his role as Nick Fury in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". Steinfeld on the other hand will next be seen in "Ender's Game" and a new adaptation of "Romeo And Juliet".
