17 Feb – Local Malaysian actress, Nora Danish has lodged a police report over a threatening video that was uploaded on YouTube for using her picture recently.

According to Harian Metro, the video that was uploaded showed four masked men that are self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) members. One of them was seen holding a picture of Nora, where it is believed that the back of the picture had a script where the man was reading from.

Apart from the picture, the content of the video itself where their statement is concern does not relate to Nora.

"It seems that in the video they are holding my picture. I don't want to comment further. All I can say is I will lodge a police report in a while," Nora said.

The 33-year-old "Gudang Kubur" star mentioned that she was initially unaware that her picture was used in the video until one of her friends informed her that afternoon.

Bukit Aman's counter-terrorism division senior official, Datuk Ayub Khan said to reporters that the police are still investigating the matter but refuses to comment any further about the video that has now gone viral.

In the video, one of the masked men warned that firecrackers will be set off at courthouses at 11:30pm on Wednesday to symbolise their loss of faith in democracy.

"We will set off 'mercun' in courts as a symbol of the destruction of one of the tools used in the democratic system. We have just started and we will go even further. The more you destroy democracy, the more we will fight," said the masked man who spoke in Malay.
