4 Mar – Danish director Niels Arden Oplov is back with his favourite actress-slash-muse Noomi Rapace, whom he collaborated with for the Swedish version of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo". This time, it is a whole new neo-noir thriller about revenge at its best, also starring Colin Farrell, Dominic Cooper and Terrence Howard. Noomi Rapace, who plays the role of Beatrice in the new film, was last seen in the ambitious "Prometheus" alongside Michael Fassbender and "Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows" with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Clearly, she has come a long way since her fantastic breakthrough performance of Lisbeth Salander, as she will also be reprising her role as Elizabeth Shaw in the newly announced sequel to "Prometheus".
Her co-star, Colin Farrell was last seen in the movie "Seven Psychopaths" with Sam Rockwell and in the remake of "Totall Recall". "Dead Man Down" tells a story of Victor (Farrell), a rising gangland player who seeks revenge against Alphonse (Howard) for destroying his once happy life, but is seduced by one of Alphonse's victims Beatrice (Rapace), who is also seeking for retribution of her own. "Dead Man Down" will open in Malaysian theatres on 7 March 2013, and 11 April 2013 in Singapore.
