1 Apr – Fans who miss disbanded Swedish electronic dance music trio, Swedish House Mafia will get to see them on the silver screen via their second documentary film, "Leave The World Behind" for a one night only special screening. Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) will be showing the music documentary exclusively for one night only on 11 April at 9.30pm at selected GSC cinemas. The participating GSC cinemas are GSC Signature, GSC Mid Valley, GSC Pavilion, GSC 1 Utama, GSC Paradigm, GSC Berjaya Times Square, GSC Alamanda, GSC Gurney Plaza, and GSC Aeon Bandaraya Melaka. The sophomore music documentary follows legendary electronic dance group Swedish House Mafia on their final world tour, which became the largest worldwide electronic music tour in history with over 1,000,000 tickets sold in just one week, as they decide to end the group in order to save their friendship. Christian Larson, who also directed the group's first DVD documentary called "Take One", directs "Leave The World Behind", with Jonas Åkerlund ("Spun", "Madonna: I'm Going to Tell You A Secret") as executive producer. The film just had its world premiere in March 2014 at the SXSW Festival. Swedish House Mafia consisted of three members: Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. They sold over 1.7 million albums worldwide with their biggest selling single, "Don't You Worry Child", which received over 160 million views on VEVO/YouTube. The group was also the first electronic dance music act to play at the world-renowned Madison Square Gardens in New York City. Ticket for "Leave The World Behind" will be on sale this Friday, 4 April at 12pm onwards via GSC's website as well as their box office counters at the selected cinemas mentioned above.
