One of the eagerly awaited movies this New Year season as no Chinese New Year will be complete without an appearance from Eric Tsang, the movie is guaranteed to be a star-studded affair that will bring an abundance of laughs for the whole family.

We talked to Cho-Lam and Eric Tsang on working together for the movie and also some personal questions on marriage and health which they were only too happy to share.

What are your upcming Chinese New Year plans?
Cho-Lam: I will be quite busy after today's press conference (7 February), mainly because of the preparation of my wedding this coming Valentine's Day. I will be away from work for quite some time along with Leanne. We will be enjoying our honeymoon after the wedding day. I will be busy managing my new house too because of some of the renovations that Leanne and I were not too satisfied with, and we're facing a few problems with the contractor as well.

What about the health issue you had that everyone was talking about?
Cho-Lam: Right now I am perfectly fine. The doctor says that my health is currently in good condition and there is nothing to worry about. However the doctor did say I would have to go for checkups more frequently just to make sure that I am healthy.

Now about the movie, who or what inspired you to act in this movie?
Eric Tsang: It was actually the day when I heard a voice that sounded very familiar while I was working on another film. The voice was exactly the same as Stephen Chow! You would even think Stephen Chow was beside you if you close your eyes and only listen to him talking. And then there are these replicas of other superstars that look a lot like the real person (Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Chow Yun Fatt, Julian Cheung and Jay Chou). They are the one that gave us the idea to start filming this comedy film.

What do you think about Ella's performance during filming?
Eric Tsang: Ella's role in the movie is basically to be Yuen Qiu's girlfriend. She is hilarious. She made us laugh so much and we were all really happy while working with her. We can see that she really enjoyed the filming process. I didn't expect her to be that happy while filming with us. I thought I was the happiest among all of the actors!

There is Lollipop F from Taiwan in this movie as well. What do you think about their performance?
Cho-Lam: Their role in the movie is basically to be bodyguards with weird and funny personalities. I think it was a good opportunity for them to get more experience. Moreover, they look really big and fit!

Eric, what do you think about your character in the movie?
Eric Tsang: My character is basically to act as Yuen Qiu's father who is suffering from amnesia. Well in my opinion I think that being a character with amnesia is good, because I don't have to fully remember the script. I have amnesia, I forget things. I can say anything that I want.

Will you consider in inviting Stephen Chow to attend the premiere screening of "Lucky Star 2015"?
Cho-Lam: Then wouldn't there be two Yuen Qiu on the premiere screening day? There will be two same voices that day. Not the looks, but their voices. (Cho-Lam joked)

Eric Tsang: It is really difficult to decide. Of course if he decides to attend the premiere screening it will be an honour and surprise for us. But he might be busy with his own things.
