New 6-Screen TGV CapSquare opens

19 Dec – It seems that cinemas rush to open before the year end as TGV Cinemas is opening a 6-screen outlet in Capital Square, Kuala Lumpur. The cinema, known as TGV CapSquare, is located on the third floor of a new mall on Jalan Munshi Abdullah (adjacent to Menara Multi Purpose) and marks the third cinema location being opened in Kuala Lumpur this December after GSC Signature at The Gardens, Mid Valley and GSC Pavilion at the corner of Jalan Bukit Bintang.

A casual visit to the location by Cinema Online yesterday revealed that the mall is still mostly vacant, with no shops apparently in business other than the gourmet coffee joints like Starbucks and Coffee Bean. The cinema has been doing test runs by having free shows for the public. Previous blockbusters like "300" and "Spider-Man 3" are being screened for two days in preparation for its opening tomorrow, Thursday, 20 December, 2007.
