'Do it right, or nothing left'


A sneak peak of "Love Matters" at "Money No Enough 2" appreciation night, One World Hotel, 13 Nov 08.

11 Jan – In conjunction with the film's release and of Singapore Chinatown's Chinese New Year theme "Hope And Happiness", Neo Studios and Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng Citizens' Consultative committee is organising a mass reunion dinner for 50 selected married couples to declare their love and renew their wedding vows. To be held at the open field beside the Singapore Flyer on 24 January 2009, the venue will serve as a romantic spot backed against Marina Bay's night scene attended by the cast and crew from "Love Matters".

Famed for his box office wonders like "Ah Long Pte Ltd" and "Money No Enough 2" (highest grossing Singaporean films in Malaysia), director Jack Neo had long announced the his upcoming romance flick "Love Matters", when he was here last year during an appreciation night for "Money No Enough 2".

Co-directed with Gilbert Chan, the film revolves around the marriages of three men. It stars actor Henry Thia, who has worked with Neo on the "Money No Enough" and "I Not Stupid" series, Malaysian actress Yeo Yann Yann and Malaysian radio presenter Jack Lim.

To usher in the new movie and also for Chinese New Year merrymaking, the dinner occasion will also be used to spot nine couples over the age of 80 years to celebrate their relationships.

"Love Matters" opens in cinemas nationwide on 26 February 2009.
