1 Dec – According to film distributor Antenna Entertainments, Tamil star Suriya (a.k.a. Surya a.k.a. Saravanan Sivakumar) will be at the TGV CapSquare premiere of "Raktha Charithram" on Thursday, 2 December 2010, to promote the movie.
He is understood to be travelling with a team which also comprises maverick film director Ram Gopal Varma of "Sarkar" and "Phoonk" fame.
"Raktha Charithram" is a biopic based on the life of Andhra Pradesh factionist political leader Paritala Ravindra who was assassinated by his rivals in 2005. The film features Vivek Oberoi as Ravindra, and Suriya as Suri.. Shatrughan Sinha, Abhimanyu Singh, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sushant Singh, Priyamani and Radhika Apte play other supporting roles. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
