19 Sep – Kelsey Grammer takes up the role meant for Nicolas Cage in "The Expendables 3". Grammer would be playing the role of Bonaparte, an ex-mercenary who helps the Expendables on their missions. Grammer joins a long list of action stars for the film like Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Dolph Ludgren, Wesley Snipes and Sylvester Stallone. Grammer recently landed the role of the villain in "Transformers: Age Of Extinction". He is expected to play a counter intelligence agent in the film. Grammer also had the chance to act alongside Sylvester Stallone in "Reach Me". Both films are due to be released in 2014.

Despite the series earning three Golden Globe Nominations and winning one Golden Globe for his performance, the series never made it to its third season. The five-time Emmy Award winner is well known for playing the role of Dr. Frasier Crane, a psychiatrist-turned-radio talk show host in the show "Frasier". He is the first to receive multiple Emmy nominations for portraying the same role in three series, two in "Cheers", one for "Wings" and nine in "Frasier".
