No more Gold Class for GSC Mid Valley.

13 Jun – The screening of movies at Golden Screen Cinemas' (GSC) Gold Class hall at Mid Valley has ceased since 12 June 2014 due to closure of the luxury hall.

The hall has been closed to make way for renovation work by the mall management for the South Court of the 3rd floor and for the cineplex to add more screens.

The Gold Class hall at GSC Mid Valley has been closed since 12 June 2014.

With 17 halls now after the closure of Gold Class, GSC Mid Valley holds the title of the largest cineplex in Malaysia with the most number of halls in one location in the Malaysia Book of Records.

GSC's Gold Class hall is a specialty luxury hall that features reclining plush seats equipped with blankets and pillows, and a side table with a waiter on-call button to order food and drinks. Tickets at Gold Class, GSC Mid Valley were priced at RM55.

The nearest Gold Class hall from GSC Mid Valley is located at GSC Signature in The Gardens Mall which is an adjoining mall with the Mid Valley shopping centre. Gold Class hall tickets are priced from RM70 to RM80 at GSC Signature.
