3 Apr - With the opening of TGV Cinemas' first ever IMAX theatre in Penang, moviegoers at the new TGV Gurney Paragon are invited to attend the exhibitor's open-house today! Having opened its doors at 12pm this afternoon, the open-house will go on until 9pm tonight with activities planned throughout the day. Visitors can catch the latest movie trailers for free only for today and will be treated to a special appearance by costumed characters, Nico and Pedro from "Rio 2".
The first 50 visitors for each of the character appearance sessions will receive free instant photos too. The appearance times are, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. The first 1,000 walk-ins who participate in their Trivia Quiz on location will also get free popcorn and drinks. This will be TGV Cinemas' fourth IMAX addition to their multiplexes. The other 3 IMAX theatres are located in TGV Sunway Pyramid, TGV 1 Utama Shopping Mall with their biggest IMAX to date at TGV Aeon Tebrau City.
