Writer: Florey DM

Jai Courtney might play Batman villain, Deadshot.

14 Nov – Since so far only Margot Robbie is confirmed for her role as Harley Quinn in the upcoming DC movie, "Suicide Squad", rumours of other possible casting is still travelling through the grapevine.

According to Variety, Jai Courtney is the next talent to be courted for a role in the superhero movie. He is reportedly in talks for the role of Deadshot.

Deadshot is primarily Batman's enemy. His initial appearance in Gotham City was thought to be as a new crime fighter, but he turns out to be the enemy of the Caped Crusader as he attempts to replace the latter.

"Suicide Squad" tells the story of a group of the world's most notorious supervillains gathered together and commissioned by the government to perform highly dangerous tasks. Among the names currently rumoured to join the movie's cast are Jared Leto as the Joker, Tom Hardy as Rick Flag and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

"Suicide Squad" will be released in North America on 5 August 2016.
