13 Nov – Justin Lin directed his first "Fast and Furious" movie back in 2006. Following the success of "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", Lin went on to direct its following three sequels: 2009's "Fast & Furious", 2011's "Fast Five" and 2013's "Fast & Furious 6". Having directed the third to sixth instalment in the series, Lin then passes the directing baton on to James Wan for the upcoming seventh instalment, "Furious 7". However, now Entertainment Weekly is reporting since Wan will be stepping off to concentrate on his own "The Conjuring 2", chances are Lin will be returning to direct what might be the final films in the long-lasting franchise. The Taiwanese-born American director is reportedly coming back not only to direct the eighth movie but also to shoot a multi-part production, resulting in multiple movies that are shot together, which when combined will serve as an ending to the whole series. "Furious 7", the latest instalment in the franchise, will be drifting into cinemas on 2 April 2015. (Photo source: filmpro.ru)
