5 Nov – After Christian Bale had reportedly bailed on the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, another new name is now being thrown out there as the possible candidate for the lead role. "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor Michael Fassbender is rumoured to be the next star in line to play the Apple co-founder in the Sony-produced biopic, according to Deadline. However, nothing is set in stone at the moment regarding the supposed casting. The only confirmed information at this point is that "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle will be directing. No further update was given on whether Seth Rogen has finalised his talks regarding his Steve Wozniak role. The project might never get off the ground if no lead actor is found by winter, when production is expected to start. If Fassbender agrees to play Steve Jobs, the German-Irish actor will have a packed schedule as he will also be filming for "Assassin's Creed" and "X-Men: Apocalypse", his upcoming movies set for release in 2016.
