Joaquin Phoenix to star in M. Night Shyamalan's thriller

Joaquin Phoenix teams up with Shyamalan for new thriller.

27 Aug – Joaquin Phoenix may be seen next in an upcoming movie by "Sixth Sense" director M. Night Shyamalan.

The 40-year-old "Inherent Vice" star is reportedly in talks to star in the movie to be produced by Jason Blum, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

There are no other details on the movie yet at the moment, it is only confirmed that it will be a thriller.

This will mark the third time for Phoenix and Shyamalan to work together, after previously teaming up for the 2002 science fiction thriller, "Signs", and the 2004 psychological thriller, "The Village".

Joaquin Phoenix was most recently seen in Woody Allen's "Irrational Man". Blum, who also produced recent summer thriller "The Gift", worked together with Shyamalan on "The Visit", which opens in cinemas this September.
