Paul Walker's brother wants to take up acting

5 Apr – Cody Walker, the youngest brother of the late "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker, recently voiced his interest in pursuing an acting career.

Though the 26-year-old has no prior experience of acting save for filling in as a body double to complete his late brother's part in the recently released "Fast and Furious 7", The Hollywood Reporter reports that Cody has been busy meeting with Hollywood talent agencies.

Matt Luber at Luber Rocklin Entertainment, who was Paul's manager, has been working with the budding actor to expand his career beyond the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

With his baby blues and chiseled looks, Cody bears a striking resemblance to Paul, who passed away at the age of 40 in 2013 in a car accident not related to the drag-racing film franchise, and his brothers Caleb and Cody were invited to stand in as body doubles to finish the filming after his death.

Many fans have expressed the wish to see Cody continue on Paul's legacy, starring in future "Fast and Furious" films as Brian O'Connor's brother.

Co-star Tyrese Gibson does not oppose to the idea of the younger Walker following in his late brother's footsteps, greeting it with a "Wow! Cody, we need you baby!" as quoted by Daily Mail Online, and added, "If you hang around the barbershop long enough, at some point you're gonna get a haircut."

"Fast and Furious 7" is now showing in cinemas and is expected to become the highest-grossing instalment yet in the 14-year-old franchise.
