7 Aug – "In these times of hardship, just remember – We.Are.Groot." That's just one of the gems you'll get to hear once you hit the play button on the newly released "Guardians' Inferno" music video. Director James Gunn has been teasing fans for days about releasing "something amazing" on social media, even dropping a hint in the form of a very retro poster that just exudes disco vibe on his Twitter account. Gunn and his "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast did not disappoint once the "something amazing" was finally revealed, as they party the night away in the newly released music video, which features David Hasselhoff in a singing role. "I didn't learn parenting, my daddy was a planet!" Hasselhoff bellowed in the video as the cast dance away (or play an instrument of some sort). Yes, Stan Lee makes an appearance too. It's no official Marvel production without the comic book writer popping up in the video, of course. Watch the music video at the bottom of the article and see if you can recognise Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker, Chris Pratt and more without their usual out-of-this-world makeup. Gunn's latest tweet revealed the music video is definitely feeling the love from fans, "Amazing. The #GuardiansInferno video has already passed a million views today. Thanks to all of you for sharing!!!"
Fun aside, there might be some sadness heading fans' way as Gunn has also recently revealed to Heat Vision that the upcoming third instalment of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be the last we see of the current line-up. So expect to say goodbye to your favourite actors in their current roles, such as Pratt as Star Lord, Saldana as Gamora, Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket. The silver lining here is the new line-up might include the Ravagers briefly seen in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 2": Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord, Michael Rosenbaum as Martinex, Ving Rhames as Charlie-27, Michelle Yeoh as Aleta Ogord, Miley Cyrus as Mainframe and Krugarr – the original Guardians. We'll have to wait and see where the franchise is headed after "Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 3", which is currently being written by Gunn, who will also be returning to direct.
