20 Dec – Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok recently won Actor of the Year award at the inaugural Hainan International Film Festival. As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who shared the prize with "Dying to Survive" actor Xu Zheng, won for his performance in the Hong Kong film, "Project Gutenberg". Aaron also took to Instagram to express his delight over winning the accolade, but more than everything, to be accepting the award from presenter Johnny Depp. "He really is an actor that I like very much. After that first meeting, I was happy to be able to share my filming ideas with him. And the friendly Johnny said that he hopes for an opportunity for a movie cooperation. That is my wish as well," he wrote. Lastly, Aaron thanked the festival, director Felix Chong, and the whole team of "Project Gutenberg".
