14 May – Having recently confirmed his casting for "Bond 25", Rami Malek has landed yet another big role post-"Bohemian Rhapsody". He hasn't exactly agreed but the Oscar-winning actor is in talks to star as a sharp young detective in Warner Bros.' "LittleThings", Deadline reported. The 38-year-old will be partnering up with Denzel Washington, who is described as a "seen-it-all deputy sheriff" with a nose for the "little things", which is useful for when it comes to collecting clues. The crime-fighting duo, who is on the hunt for a serial killer, might not hit it off from the get-go since the 64-year-old's character is also described as someone with "baggage and a willingness to cut corners that bristles with his younger partners".
Set to be directed by John Lee Hancock, who also produces and writes the movie, "Little Things" is looking to begin production this September. This will give enough time for Malek, if he does take the role, to wrap up "Bond 25" and the fourth and final season of his drama thriller TV series, "Mr. Robot".
