2 Dec – After coming out as a lesbian more than six years ago, "Juno" star Page has now announced that he is a transgender. Page, whose first name was formerly Ellen, posted on his Instagram a heartfelt letter, stating, "Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot." His wife, 26-year-old professional dancer Emma Portner, also shared the letter penned by the 33-year-old actor on her Instagram and stated that she was proud of him. "Elliot's existence is a gift in and of itself," she wrote.

Page previously came out as gay in February 2014. He has been married to Portner since 2018. The Canadian actor-producer started his acting career in 1997 and has since starred in movies like "Hard Candy", the "X-Men" franchise and "Juno", in the breakthrough titular role for which he was nominated for various awards, including the Oscars. He most recently helmed a documentary called "There's Something in the Water", as well as starred in "Tales of the City" and "The Umbrella Academy". He will be heard lending his voice to "Naya Legend of the Golden Dolphin" and "Robodog", both movies which are currently in post-production.
