11 Jun – Pennywise the Clown will now be a part of the "John Wick" franchise, and by that we mean its actor Bill Skarsgård, who is set to star in the fourth chapter of the popular Keanu Reeves-starrer. The actor, most known to many for his "It" character, will be joining Keanu as well as other new additions, including Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, and Japanese-British pop star Rina Sawayama. No news as to what character Skarsgård will play in the movie, though hopefully no one good.
The upcoming project is penned by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, with Chad Stahelski returning to the director's seat. It is noted that Skarsgård had previously worked with original "John Wick" co-director David Leitch on movies like "Atomic Blonde" and "Deadpool 2". On the other hand, the actor is having three new indie movies to be released this year including the crime dramedy "Naked Singularity" co-starring "Star Wars" actor John Boyega.
