26 Jul – Emilia Clarke recently confirmed that she will indeed be a part of the upcoming Marvel mini-series, "Secret Invasion". The "Game of Thrones" star shared as much on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", telling the said host that it would be the only thing she can say about the project. "I'm already scared," Clarke said, light-heartedly. "The first people I spoke to from Marvel were their security team and I am convinced that there is a man outside my house. There's been a car parked there for a long time, and I swear to God, he's undercover."
It was previously reported that Clarke was in talks to join the project, which is set to star Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, with Ben Mendelsohn from "Captain Marvel" returning as Talos, leader of the shape-shifting Skrulls, and Kingsley Ben-Adir in a villain role. It is noted that the comics where the upcoming show is from features the shape-shifting aliens known as Skrulls, which has previously appeared in "Captain Marvel" as well as Disney+'s "WandaVision". Clarke is no stranger to keeping secrets when it comes to her projects, having starred in two major franchises that were very wrapped-up in secrecy; "Game of Thrones" and "Star Wars".
