11 Aug – Although her first pregnancy with son Taimur was a breeze, Kareena Kapoor recently admitted that being pregnant with second son Jeh was not as easy.

The actress, who gave birth to Jeh last February, recently opened up about her experience in an Instagram Live interview with Karan Johar, stating that the pregnancy left her feeling vulnerable during and after giving birth.

"I had loved [being pregnant with Taimur], enjoyed it and that gave me the courage to do it again. But this was different. I had bouts where I would sit down and think, 'I don't think I can do this, don't think anything is going to be okay,'" she said.

One of the external reasons was due to COVID-19, which was a cause for concern for any pregnant mothers.

"There was this constant fear of what is going to happen, what if I get COVID, my child gets it. There was a lot of trauma in the last trimester mentally, of wanting to step out and do things but still...," Kareena added.

She admitted that coming home after giving birth to Jeh was also overwhelming, adding that she wondered if she would ever be okay.

"I was afraid of breastfeeding because I wasn't getting enough when I delivered Jeh," she said. "I felt like my body had stretched. My feet were feeling like 100 kgs."

Despite all that, Kareena is still elated to welcome another addition to the Khan-Kapoor family, and also was able to churn out a new book about her experience, titled, "Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible".
