15 May – Despite the positive reviews from critics upon its release last year, Margot Robbie recently admitted that there have been no plans for a sequel to "Birds of Prey". The actress, who reprised her role as Harley Quinn in the previous movie, shared as much in a recent interview with Den of Geek, saying, "I don't know if that is on the horizon anytime soon. I don't think it's a no. But no, there's no sequel in the works that I'm aware of at this stage."
It is noted that Robbie was a producer on the first movie, which meant that she should be the first to know if Warner Bros. is planning on a sequel. The first movie, which is officially titled "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)", sees Harley Quinn teaming up with Huntress, Black Canary, and Renee Montoya to defeat a gangster and protect a girl. The actress recently returned as the said Mistress of Mayhem in the James Gunn movie, "The Suicide Squad".
