29 Aug – The new local movie, "Air Force The Movie: Selagi Bernyawa" has started its opening week with a bang - it has now accumulated RM6 million in just three days! The news was shared by the film on social media on 27 August, stating, "Air Force The Movie managed to collect RM6 million in three days of screening. Thank you to Malaysians for supporting this film." Presented by the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) together with five giant production companies including Golden Screen Cinemas, the movie tells the story of the TUDM mission in rescuing the Special Air Force (PASKAU) stranded in Namburi after an enemy shot down their plane.
The movie boasts a star-studded cast that include Adi Putra, Aiman Hakim Ridza, Nas-T, Sara Ali, Pablo Amirul, Johan As'ari, Luqman Hafidz, Anas Ridzuan, Jack Tan, Iman Corinne, Scha Alyahya and Carmen Soo, and is co-directed by Zulkarnain Azhar and Frank See. This is Adi Putra's latest box office film, following the success of "Mat Kilau".
