2 Sep – John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds have now begun the production of their new movie, "Imaginary Friends". The news was shared by the actor-director on 31 August, sharing a photo of the clapper board with the word "IF", writing, "Beautiful day to kick off a movie! #IF." The photo was then shared by Reynolds on his Instagram Story.
The upcoming movie is directed by Krasinski himself, and also co-stars Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Fiona Shaw, and Louis Gossett Jr. "Imaginary Friends" was first announced in 2019, and revolves around a man who can communicate with other people's former imaginary friends, some of whom he discovers are angry or sad about being cast aside. The screenplay is written by the "A Quiet Place" star himself.
