23 Feb – Tamil blockbuster "Love Today" is set to be remade in Hindi. The news was shared by producer Archana Kalapthi, who announced on Twitter, "Super happy to announce the Hindi remake of #LoveToday in association with Phantom Films @Shrishtiarya. Can't wait to take this film to a larger audience with a super interesting cast and crew." No news yet as to who will be helming the movie or the actors who will play the roles.
Released in November last year, "Love Today" marks the sophomore directorial venture of "Comali" director Pradeep Ranganathan. It made USD 12 million from a USD 600,000 plus budget. It stars Pradeep, Ivana, Sathyaraj and Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, and Raveena, and revolves around a couple who were challenged to switch their phones with each other to test their relationship. Chaos ensues as the lovers' secrets are unearthed.
