8 Feb – Aamir Khan has no qualms returning to his root - romance films - if the storyline suits him. The actor, who starred in his first romantic film via 1988's "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak", told News-18 that he will definitely do romance if there is one for him in the future.
"It's a little uncommon to explore romance at my age. If I suit the character and the story, why not?" he said.
Stressing the importance of the role to suit his current age, the 58-year-old, who played a college student in "3 Idiots" when he was in his 40s added, " If there's a role that suddenly requires me to look 18, I don't want to do that." Aamir's last film was "Laal Singh Chaddha", which was a remake of "Forrest Gump". The actor had since taken a break from filming, though will return to shoot a new movie sometime this year. He is also producing a new movie, "Laapataa Ladies", directed by ex-wife Kiran Rao.
