30 Nov – Bollywood star, Aamir Khan, who is known for his stellar acting is now back with another shocking body transformation for his upcoming movie "Dangal". Aamir Khan who plays the role of wrestler Mahavir Phogat in the movie was required to portray the wrestler from two different spectrums, with one being during his prime and another being after his retirement. Refusing to wear a body suit to act as the retired wrestler, the actor changed his diet and managed to get his weight up to 96kg for the role of Phogat's middle-aged self. After the shooting for Phogat's paunchy self was done, the "Dhoom 3" star hit the gym again and changed his diet from heavy to light food to get his abs back again to portray Phogat's younger self as a wrestler. Not a stranger to such transformations, the actor previously did a similar transformation for his 2008 movie, "Ghajini", where he went through an immense diet and exercise routine for his six pack abs in the film. But now according to Firstpost, the actor himself had agreed that "Dangal" was the hardest transformation he has ever done. He said, "While I took up body building to get a certain look for my film, this ("Dangal") one was one of the most dramatic body transformations so far." It is also a notable point that, Aamir Khan who is also fondly known as the Christian Bale of Indian cinema is actually 51-years-old. Now, all that is to be looked forward to is the release of "Dangal" which is based on the true story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, a former wrestler who trains his daughters in an attempt to win the commonwealth medal he missed in his youth. The biopic starring Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Fatima Sana Shaikh comes to cinemas this 23 December.
