13 Feb – It looks like David Leitch will not be directing the upcoming "Jurassic World" movie as previously reported. According to Deadline, the "Bullet Train" director has amicably parted ways with the studio as both parties have different visions for the said film. Universal will now begin looking for another filmmaker to do the job.
The new project will be penned by David Koepp, the same scribe who wrote the first two "Jurassic Park" films. It will not be a continuation of the Christ Pratt-starring "Jurassic World" movies. Despite Leitch's withdrawal, the movie is sticking to its July 2025 release date.
