Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is almost unrecognisable in this first look image

23 May - Fans were surprised to see a truly changed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, as the actor's first look image for his new movie was shared by A24 and the actor himself.

In a post shared on X, the studio posted a photo of Johnson in a full set of hair as he portrays MMA legend Mark Kerr in the new movie, "The Smashing Machine".

Also invisible to the eye is his trademark tattoos adorning his body, as Johnson as his character sat in the corner of the MMA ring in his fighting getup.

The upcoming movie will revolve around the life of the legendary MMA fighter from the no-holds-barred era of UFC as he struggles with addiction, winning, love and friendship in the year 2000.

The film is helmed by Bennie Safdie of "Uncut Gems" fame, and also star Emily Blunt as Kerr's wife, Dawn Staples.
