After "Amaran" success, Sivakarthikeyan announces exciting collaborative project

16 Dec - After much speculations, it was confirmed that Sivakarthikeyan will be working with director Sudha Kongara for his next project.

The actor, whose new movie "Amaran" has been a huge success at the box office, will be filming his 25th film that will also star Jayam Ravi, Atharvaa and Sreeleela.

This marks the actor's first collaboration with the director. Reportedly, the film was originally made with Suriya in mind, but that the actor had to drop out due to scheduling conflict.

SK25 will have music by GV Prakash Kumar, who also composed for "Amaran".

On the other hand, "Amaran" is now streaming on Netflix. An adaptation of the book series "India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military", the film tells the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his actions during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.
