In "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" Dwayne Johnson stars as Hank Parsons, Sean Anderson`s (Josh Hutcherson) stepfather. Sean forces Hank to bring him on a trip to a mythical and monstrous island to find his missing grandfather played by Michael Caine. Vanessa Anne Hudgens also stars in this movie as Kailani, a tour guide and Hutcherson`s love interest. The script is loosely based on Jules Verne`s "The Mysterious Island" novel.

Sean memaksa Hank untuk membawa dia ke sebuah pulau mitos untuk mencari datuknya yang dilakonkan oleh Michael Caine.
