The four musicians from the rock band Smoke went their own separate ways in 1972. 40 years later, after a brief reunion, the members decide to make a comeback. Each has his own reasons for it - money, longing for lost fame, the desire to help a friend and also fear of powerlessness, illness and death. But despite their original motives, these aging men start playing together once again. As they begin to enjoy the music, their friendship, their life onstage and behind the scenes, their plans, ambitions and also they themselves begin to change as well. Then, one great secret is finally revealed - why the band broke up in the first place.

Empat pemuzik dari kumpulan rock Smoke telah membawa haluan masing-masing pada tahun 1972. 40 tahun kemudian, selepas mereka kembali bersama, mereka telah membuat keputusan untuk membuat penampilan semula. Setiap daripada mereka mempunyai alasan tersendiri - wang, mahukan kemasyhuran, niat untuk membantu rakan, takut kehilangan kuasa, dan juga takut akan sakit dan kematian. Di sebalik tujuan utama mereka, mereka kembali bermain muzik bersama sekali lagi. Ketika mereka sedang menikmati muzik, hubungan persahabatan mereka, hidup mereka di atas pentas dan di belakang pentas, rancangan mereka, cita-cita dan diri mereka mula berubah juga.
