Phoenix (EUFF)

Nelly is a German-Jewish nightclub singer who survives a concentration camp but due to a bullet wound, has to undergo a facial reconstructive surgery. She emerges with a new face which even her husband, Johnny, fails to recognise. He long assumes she was dead and when they meet again, he mistakes her as a doppelganger and plans to use her to access his dead wife`s fortune. Rather than revealing her true identity, Nelly decides to go along with the plan while in the meantime, she tries to figure out if Johnny is the one who betrayed her to the Nazis.
Nelly, seorang Yahudi-Jerman yang bekerja sebagai penyanyi kelab malam, telah terselamat ketika di kem tahanan. Akibat mengalami kecederaan teruk di muka, Nelly telah menjalani pembedahan muka dan kini mempunyai wajah lain yang mana bekas suaminya, Johnny, tidak mengenali dirinya lagi. Johnny beranggapan bahawa Nelly sudah lama meninggal dunia, dan apabila mereka bertemu lagi, Johnny menganggap dia seperti pelanduk dua serupa dan mahu menggunakannya untuk mendapat akses kepada kekayaan isterinya. Nelly mengambil keputusan untuk meneruskan penyamaran itu sementara dia cuba mencari punca sama ada Johnny yang mengkhianatinya.
